I send a lot of stuff like this out. This is one I sent when I was taking care of my Mom when she had dementia. ________ Ok, This is one of the more embarrassing things I have done lately. Mom and I take her truck to the carwash. I have only driven it about a dozen times and not for months. It is a car wash that you sit in and it pulls you through it. So Mom and I are sitting there moving through the part where they spray soap on the car before the brushes as kind of a pre soak. Right as we get to these... I apparently have accidentally rested my arm on the OPEN WINDOW button. You would think this should not be as big of a problem as it was. But the truck (which is very fancy with all the options,) automatically rolls the window all the way down once you start it going. I was not that familiar with the buttons so I could not immediately find the right button to roll up the window. So I enter the tentacle things like on the picture, but these are extremely wet and soapy, with water spraying right on them. These are slapping me in the face really hard wiht lots of soapy water, and I am pressing buttons as fast as I can, but can not see because I have soap in my face and these blue things hitting me really hard. I mean really slapping me! When I finally find the button I can’t just roll up the window, because at any given time there are about 5 to 10 of these soapy strands slapping around the inside of the truck. For everyone I push out the window, two more would come in slapping me in the face. It was not fun and I was panicked. If I rolled the window up on a bunch of them then the whole thing might be pulled down as the truck is being pulled through. About the “middle" of the below set of brushes, I fairly got the window up. These turn really fast and through a lot of soapy water as they do. So the water is just spraying in on me. But all the tentacles are behind us, and I get the window rolled up. I am drenched and feeling like a complete moron. All this time I have been frantic, and I sit back in the seat, and look over at Mom. Well,,, In the midst of all the button pushing,,, I had opened her window and was so panicked, I never even looked over there. She had been fighting off the same stuff, and had soap all over her and could not see out her glasses because they had soap on them. It was really bad. We were both drenched with soap and water. We went and vacuumed and cleaned the car, but I don’t remember feeling so stupid in a long time.

My Opinion on Dave's Auto Repair Clinic in Mesa

In my opinion they are totally horrible when it comes to quality of work.

Below is how my drivers door was return to me after Dave's Auto Repair's 3rd attempt to repair my drivers side electric window.

Can you imagine getting your car back and seeing an auto shop had screwed through your door handle and put 2 miss matched washers under the screw that everyone that looks in the car could see.

How do I explain that on an otherwise well maintained and clean car, if I try to sell it to someone. Do I tell them that some hillbilly worked on the car?

If this is the quality of work they do when it is somewhere everyone can see it,,, Think of the quality of work they do in places you can't see.

I took my car to Dave's Auto Repair because the Drivers electric window would not roll down.

When I took it to Dave's Auto Repair, it looked liked this.

When I picked my car up I drove it home only to find that the first time I rolled the window down it would not role up because it was over one inch out of alinement at the top, and bound up on the rear window.

After taking it back the 2nd time,,, when I picked it up the inside door panel was not attached on the back side. You could see very clearly down inside the door.

I also could see that there was quite a bit of Blue Painters Tape down inside the door. I did not think this was good, because it could eventually dry up and fall off and could get jammed in the window and cause it to stop working again.

On my 3rd trip back… When I picked up the car, it is my belief that they broke something that holds the inside door panel (because they took it off an put it back on 3 times,) and this was their way of fixing it.

Again I ask, Would you go to an auto shop that would do this to someones car.

Please feel free too let me know what you think, what you would have done, or what I can do about this. I really am baffled and Dave's Auto Repair did not think this was a bad way to fix it when I took it back and complained.
